Qlar’s advanced Bucket Elevator ensures reliable, efficient, and predictive bulk material handling for the cement industry’s toughest challenges.

Handling bulk materials like clinker, raw meal, or limestone isn’t easy—especially when they’re dusty, abrasive, moist or hot. These challenges often lead to costly downtime and maintenance headaches.

Qlar’s latest bucket elevator is engineered to tackle these issues head-on. Designed for high-capacity, high-lift applications in the cement industry and beyond, it delivers:

  • Versatile handling across temperatures and flowability
  • Reliable flow with optimised bucket spacing
  • Predictive maintenance via IIoT-ready sensors
  • Quick service with modular, easy-swap parts
  • Durable build using forged chains and steel cord belts
  • Compact and efficient for high throughput

With this innovation, Qlar is helping industry leaders shift from reactive to predictive maintenance, reduce operational downtime, and achieve more reliable, efficient throughput.

Belt Bucket Elevator

Ideal for continuous, low-maintenance handling of fine materials using a robust, steel-cord reinforced rubber belt and easily replaceable bucket attachments. Its fully mechanical fastener ensures quick installation without the need for complex tools or compounds.

Chain Bucket Elevator

Build for transporting coarse, abrasive, and high-temperature materials, thanks to their central chain and closely spaced buckets.

Engineered for maximum strength and wear resistance, they feature alloy steel components and durable bearings that perform reliably even with tough, abrasive products.

TotalEnergies and Holcim have commissioned a floating solar power plant in Obourg, Belgium, built on a rehabilitated former chalk quarry that has been converted into a lake. The project has a generation capacity of 31 MW and produces around 30 GWh of renewable electricity annually, which will be used to power Holcim’s nearby industrial operations. The project is currently the largest floating solar installation in Europe dedicated entirely to industrial self-consumption. To ensure minimal impact on the surrounding landscape, more than 700 metres of horizontal directional drilling were used to connect the solar installation to the electrical substation. The project reflects ongoing collaboration between the two companies to support industrial decarbonisation through renewable energy solutions and innovative infrastructure development.
