The TechnoMix mobile concrete batching plant has been launched by Ultranazz, the concrete equipment specialist. The plant can commence operations within a few hours of arrival on site and requires minimal attention. It is the only mobile wet mix plant on the market which has been fit with a self-installing mixer, not requiring a crane for assembly. The machine has a capability of making 50m3 of wet concrete per hour. It is ideal equipment for ready-mix concrete suppliers and large construction sites needing a fully homogenized mix.The advantages of the TechnoMix accrue from the fact that it can be transported on a standard truck or can fit into a 40′ container apart from being compact and completely pre-wired. The mixer forms an integral part of the plant during transportation and a specially designed hydraulic lifting system automatically raises the mixer into position upon arrival on-site. A colour touch-screen control panel manages all components of the TechnoMix plant. The control panel uses a software system developed on a windows platform. This facilitates the creation and storage of formulas, batching reports and dockets for the user, apart from downloading the data so that it can be viewed on any computer. For Further information, please contact:Suzy Wiseman, Marketing Manager, Utranazz GroupEmail: suzy@utranazz.com or telephone: 01280 820770

The American Cement Association projects a nearly 1Mt annual increase in US cement demand over the next three years, driven by the surge in AI data centres. Consumption by data centres is expected to grow from 247,000 tonnes in 2025 to 860,000 tonnes by 2027. With over 5,400 AI data centres currently operating and numbers forecast to exceed 6,000 by 2027, the association cautions that regulatory hurdles and labour shortages may impact the industry’s ability to meet demand.
