Ambuja Cement will set up 15 Ambuja knowledge centres across the country by December. The company has set up 21 such centres in various parts of the country. The 22nd centre was inaugurated in Mangaluru.
Knowledge centres will be opened in places such as Jalandhar, Amritsar, Dehradun and Siliguri in the coming months. These centres help share knowledge in the field of cement, concrete, construction technology and civil engineering among contractors, technicians and engineers through interactive and informative platforms, according to the company.
The facilities serve as experience centres dedicated at enriching the skill-sets and offer value-added services and solutions to the industry.
According to the company, its Customer Support Group has trained more than 10,000 masons and 5,000 contractors from various parts of the country through its knowledge centres and plans to train 18,000 masons and 15,000 contractors with certified construction courses by 2020.
