Wonder Cement has officially commenced operations of Line 5 at its Nimbahera plant in Rajasthan. The launch, led by Managing Director Kiran Patil on 7 May 2025, adds 2.8 million tonnes per annum (Mt/yr) of clinker capacity and boosts the company’s total clinker output to 13.35Mt/yr. Additionally, the company’s cement production capacity has increased by 2.5Mt/yr, reaching 21.5Mt/yr. APBCO partnered with Wonder Cement on this expansion, which also includes a 12MW waste heat recovery (WHR) system designed to enhance energy efficiency.
