As part of its CSR commitment, thyssenkrupp Industries India has built the ‘thyssenkrupp School of Welding Excellence’ at Government ITI, Aundh, Pune.
This project seeks to transform the institute’s existing welding facilities into a cutting-edge Virtual/Augmented Reality based training school. ITI Aundh will be
able to overcome the limits of traditional equipment thanks to the newly launched facilities. Furthermore, students at the thyssenkrupp School of Welding Excellence
will receive the necessary time and practice to acquire the skill, as well as individualised feedback on their performance via the best available international state-of-the-art
equipment. A Simulator room, a stateof- the-art classroom with seating capacity for 40 pupils, and a welding facility make up the School. The ‘thyssenkrupp School
of Welding Excellence’ course structure is separated into numerous stages with multiple metal possibilities, placement, critical examination of errors, and saving
each student’s progress to help evaluate their improvement.
