Jammu Kashmir Cements plant deteriorating rapidly

A state-owned corporation, Jammu Kashmir Cements`new plant established in Khrew Pampore in 2006 has already gone into maintenance. The plant was designed for a capacity of 600 tonnes. While a private company would have spent approximately Rs 70 crore on a same type of plant with a life of at least 30 years, the corporation had spent Rs 125 crore on this plant.
