Ambuja Cement recently held a one-day seminar, which was part of the three-day B2B exhibition for the building industry organised by World Build India. The exhibition witnessed participation from over 220 construction professionals.
Powered by ‘Ambuja Foundations – A Knowledge Initiative’, the seminar held on April 22 served as a platform for professionals – architects, builders, contractors, civil & structural engineers and SMEP experts – to reflect and deliberate current challenges, new ideas and solutions that would meaningfully change the face of construction in India. The conclave also celebrated the industry experts’ contribution in building advanced structures that not only met surging customers’ expectations, but also sought to address the environmental impact.
Driven by advances in construction technology, environmental concerns and ever-changing customer expectations, the industry has been subject to many changes in the recent past. This necessitated visionaries and leaders to congregate under one roof and share their journey, various challenges they faced and innovative ways to find solutions. Their reflections and thoughts have added great value to the industry.

Through its dynamic platform Ambuja Foundation, the organisation is continuously informing and inspiring professionals to progressively enhance and expand the learning base so that better sustainable solutions can be offered for cement and concrete applications.
At the conclave, Hitesh Barot, Head-Technical Services, Ambuja Cement, spoke on the topic: ‘Innovative Tools and Technologies to produce High Performance Concrete’. Among the initiatives showcased at Ambuja’s stall during the conclave included LafargeHolcim Measurement Tools (MeToo): MeToo – Shape, MeToo-Blu, MeToo – Cone and MeToo – Heat.
Ambuja also demonstrated Modular Curing Solutions. In addition, LH Group’s endeavours and R&D facilities in Lyon, Paris aimed at building a better world were promoted; AKC, CFL & Microfine products were highlighted.
