The company’s consolidated net profit went up 38.04 per cent to Rs 396.96 crore; the cement major also reported 6.83 per cent uptick in net sales to Rs 5,631.90 crore in Q1 March 2017, over Q1 March 2016. Consolidated cement sales volumes rose 3.27 per cent to 12.62 million tonnes in Q1 March 2017 over Q1 March 2016.
