Innovative Cement Grinding Solutions by Loesche

Loesche Vertical Roller mills continue to be outstanding performer in terms of throughput, specific power and product quality. Loesche Clinker mills of size LM 53.3+3CS are successfully operating in UltraTech Andhra Pradesh Cement Works (APCW), Tadipatri, delivering higher cement production than the contractual guarantees. Tadipatri plant prefers to operate Loesche mills due to higher availability, better energy efficiency, ease of operation & user friendly features. Brief summary of operating data is given hereunder:

Split grinding unit of APCW at Ginigera, is also operating identical size Loesche mill (LM 53.3+3CS) with clinker at ambient temperature from mother plant at APCW, Tadipatri. Mill at Ginigera was originally supplied for grinding Slag and OPC with the use of hot gases. Recently, the plant has converted the mill to PPC with addition of dry fly ash feeding system. There was no change done in the mill internal for PPC. At present, the major production from Loesche mill at Ginigera is OPC & PPC without using Hot Gas Generator (HGG). HGG is used for initial start-up /heat-up only. Ginigera is also producing ground slag as well as PSC from the same mill, depending on market requirement.

Customer decision of VRM technology from Loesche leads to producing various product mixes at different quantities with ease – once again proving the flexibility of Loesche mills.

Loesche VRM Grinding Solutions completely satisfy the recently notified "Composite Cement, IS – 16415" as mill allows flexibility for quick change over of various products and serve local market demands.
