Lafarge India recently inaugurated a new ‘Home Building Centre’ at Chandannagar city in the Hooghly district of West Bengal to help people design their dream home. Home Building Centers provide home builders the opportunity to interact with different construction experts and help them to save time, money and effort besides exploring design options and decide on the right building materials and more. The Home Building Centre also maintains a computerised database of professional members including architects, contractors, interior designers, plumbers and even carpenters. The centre also conducts audio-visual sessions and talk shows by renowned experts on subjects like low cost housing, interior design, landscaping and good construction practices for the end users. This is their third centre in West Bengal, with one being in Kolkata and the other at Raniganj.
