Polysius AG of Neubeckum, a member company of the ThyssenKrupp Group, and Vecoplan AG of Bad Marienberg, a subsidiary of MAX Automation AG, have announced a joint venture (JV) company Vecoplan FuelTrack GmbH. The JV plans to offer a complete chain of equipment from preparation up to use of the alternative fuels in the rotary kiln and calciner. This JV would help to reuse domestic refuse, bulky household trash and commercial wastes, to a large extent, which will be converted into high grade fuels. This would help to reduce the consumption of expensive and increasingly scarce fossil resources and also cuts the amount of waste going to incinerators or landfills. The JV combines the cement and lime manufacturing technology know-how and plant engineering and construction activities of Polysius with Vecoplan’s knowledge of plant technology on the alternative fuel preparation sector. This JV company will be located in Bad Marienberg.
