Ambuja Cements, part of the Adani Group, is transforming the agricultural landscape of water-deficient regions in western Rajasthan. Through its CSR initiatives, the company is promoting micro-irrigation systems and rainwater harvesting techniques that are reshaping farming practices in the Beawar and Nagaur districts.
Over 250 farmers have already adopted these methods, which enable more efficient irrigation and significantly reduce water consumption while boosting agricultural productivity. As a result, lakhs of litres of water are conserved each year—bringing long-term benefits to both farmers and the environment.
One remarkable success story is that of Santosh Devi from Sevariya village near Rabriyawas.
