Ambuja cements organised a sports festival with around 250 participants from nine schools and including teachers. They also ensured access to necessary sports equipment, training opportunities and upgraded playgrounds for the students.
Ambuja Cement, under its sports promotion programme, organised a sports mela at the primary school of Sugala village in Kodinar, featuring a diverse range of sports tournaments where children showcased sportsmanship and teamwork. The event was aimed to highlighting the significance of sports in holistic development as well as reduce school dropout rates by recognising every child’s potential. Apart from organising sports festival, they also arranged other support like necessary sports equipment, upgrades playgrounds,] and training opportunities for students to compete at local, district, and state levels fostering a culture of sportsmanship and inclusivity within schools.
