IIT-M Study quantifies emissions and energy from LC3

Research conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, has concluded that the production of limestone calcined clay cement (LC3) emits 40 per cent less carbon dioxide and is 20 per cent less energy intensive as compared to Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). This study has been supported by Switzerland-based Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
