According to the Indonesian cement organisation, ASI, the nation’s cement makers exported 665,760t of cement and clinker to foreign countries in June 2022, which resulted in a 35.5 per cent reduction in total exports from Indonesia.
1 032,486 t of exports were made in June 2021. Exports of clinker fell by 39.8 per cent to 550,305t from 914,526t over the same time, while exports of cement fell by 2.1 per cent to 115,455t in June 2022 from 117,960t in June 2021. Cement and clinker shipments from Indonesia decreased overall in the first half of 2022 by 29.1 per cent YoY to 4,769,911t from 6,728,883t.
