Birla Shakti Concrete exhibits India’s largest Ready Mix Concrete plant

Birla Shakti Concrete, the flagship company of BK Birla group of companies, recently, showcased its largest ready-mix concrete and aggregate production plant in India. The plant, headquartered in Pune, produces the complete range of market-leading, high performance concrete mixes from M7.5 to M110 grades.

Spread across 25,000 sq m, the factory houses a fully automated and computer-aided design manufacturing facility including Putzmeister truck mounted Moli Pumps, Putzmeister Boom Placer, a state-of-the-art concrete testing lab, and water recycling plant. The single largest fleet of Liebherr Transit Mixers mounted on AMW vehicles, complete with GPS tracking systems, ensures prompt and timely delivery. The plant has been acknowledged as the market leader for its commitment to excellence, strength and durability.

Set up in 2013, the company operated with an annual production capacity of 4.5 lakh cu m and today has a total installed capacity of producing 6.5 lakh cu m of ready-mixed concrete. It is the first plant in India to offer customers a mobile application for placing orders.

The company partners an extensive array of clients in Pune such as Sobha Developers, Kumar properties, NCC Ltd and many others. The product portfolio caters to a wide range of applications including residential and commercial projects.

Matsushima has been associated with Mitsubishi Electric FA division for domestic market in Japan since 1991 and been assigned in Industrial division in 1994, where he rolled out his mission of sales, marketing and business development of General industry (GI) such as paper, film, Oil & Gas, petrochemical, cement, food, automobile, semiconductor industries in Japan. During the establishment of TMEIC in Japan in 2003, he was assigned with the responsibility for domestic GI market Sales in Japan HQ, and then in plant and energy sales department.

UCWL unveils new plant in Dabok, Udaipur
