UK’s budget 2014 has brought good news to the construction industry. The government is taking steps to speed up big industry planning disputes, such as those in construction, hoping it will open up new projects.
Hope Construction Materials, Britain’s leading independent producer of concrete, aggregates and cement, has welcomed several measures in the new budget. Amit Bhatia, chairman of Hope Construction Materials is optimistic that these steps will work in favour of the country’s building materials sector. He said, "With construction regularly used as a barometer of the economy, the Right to Build policy should see significant growth in house-building and with it, the industries that provide the materials to do so.
