Care Research, a unit of Care Rating, opines that the cement industry has grown very aggressively in last 10 years and that the industry is likely to slow down. The capacity has increased at CAGR of 10.4 per cent by growing from 219 MT in FY’09 to 325 MT tonnes in FY’13.
