We have been in the market from the last seven years, supplying cement to the entire Chattisgarh region. We supply Birla Gold exclusively. Our monthly dispatch is 7, 000 mt and most of the requirement is for institutional projects. We believe in sticking to a single brand as in the long term, this strategy pays. As exclusive dealers, we get better attention from the company. In times of short supply or logistical issues, the company sends the material first to us. They realise that we are dependent on their one single product.

In our region, the main challenge is cement coming from other states such as Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, etc. The market in these states is already saturated so they are now transporting in the northern states. Here, their products are sold at prices that are ten per cent lower. It is difficult to compete with these prices.
