We have been in the business from the last five years. We are distributors of only UltraTech products in the Gujarat region specially the Gandhinagar and Kheda district. The monthly dispatch is around 2,000 tonnes, most of which goes to the retail market.

Of late the market has been down. The cement dispatch in Gujarat has come down from 18 -19 lakh to 10 -û 11 lakh per month. This slowdown is mainly due to the stagnant real estate sector and slow paced infrastructure growth. The market has been sluggish from the last year.

We have been able to stay afloat as we have taken up The UltraTech Shoppe. UltraTech Shoppe is a recent concept launched by the company that protects the dealer from the slowdown in the market. In the shop, all building material needs of our customers are met under a single roof. Here they can buy colours, pipes, rebars, etc. This helps us to continue even at times when the income from cement sales is low. So even if the market is low, our bottomline is not affected.
