Rs 100 cr for violating environment norms Farmers from the Mangal gram panchayat of Solan district have staged a dharna and hunger strike outside the Arki SDM office to protest against JP Associates for dumping illegal dirt into their cultivating land. The High Court had levied a fine of Rs. 100 crore on the firm for violating environment norms and for constructing illegal thermal power plant at Behgari in Solan district.
