So we asked them how their business was going and what were the problems they were beset with. Here is their response, in their voice.
We represent brands like Birla Super, Coromandel cement, JP, etc, since the last 15 years, serving the Pimpri – Chinchwad area. We have noticed that today´s customer even in rural areas, is looking at homes as a means to enjoy a luxurious life rather than just a functional shelter. The customers´ buying power and the awareness of what is possible in construction has expanded the market. Today they consult architects in deigning the building. They now know more about the material, their quality issues and the possibilities offered by the new materials. Internet has turned today´s buyer into an informed customer and as a result, they have also become choosier in what they pick up. They understand grade and quality. We have also seen a growing demand for RMC in housing here. I must add that the cement selling and ordering process too, has improved with time, due to the IT solutions available today.
