Heidelberg Cement reported 80.75 per cent dip in net profit for the Jan-March quarter at Rs 2.2 crore due to high input freight costs. The company had reported a Rs 11.43 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal. Total income of the company, however, rose to Rs 370.43 crore compared to Rs 287.69 crore in the year ago period. Expenses too went up to Rs 349.98 crore due to outgo of raw material and freights.
