Since 1985, we have been dealing in cement and construction material. Covering the entire Delhi area, we sell a wide range of brands including UltraTech, ACC, JK Lakshmi and Birla. On an average, we sell around 50,000 bags a month.
We feel that advertisement [definitely] helps boost sales. Many of our customers are brand conscious and ask for a specific product only. Apart from regular advertising, efforts of sales executive also come into play for promoting a particular brand. Often the company´s sales executive help us in getting sales lead and closing it.
Dealership industry has changed a lot since 1985. Earlier it was difficult to get dealership as the cement companies were selective in picking up a dealer´s shop. But now [almost] anyone can start his own cement dealership enterprise.Last year, the business was not as good as expected. The realty growth was sluggish so the demand was low too. We are uncertain about the growth in the coming years.
