LafargeHolcim subsidiary ACC?? profit in the first nine months of 2020 was $130 million, down by 13 per cent year-on-year from $149 million in the corresponding period of 2019. Sales also dropped, by 17 per cent to $1.31 billion from $1.58 billion. Cement sales totalled $1.24 billion from $1.45 billion. An 18 per cent decline in expenses to $1.14 million from $1.39 million failed to offset the effects of a price drop in the first half of 2020 due to decreased demand.
