Prism RMC, a division of Prism Johnson, was recently certified the BIS certification for 16 ready-mix (RMC) plants in India. Prism RMC currently operates 100 RMC plants in 44 cities across the country and 16 plants out of these were audited and received the BIS certification for stringent Quality Management System. This reflects the company’s commitment towards quality product. These 16 BIS certified plants sprawl in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Chennai, etc. The intensive BIS audit process which spans over two days covers plant inspection, quality management system evaluation, material storage provision, source of water, waste disposal mechanism and calibration of equipment.
