ACC, part of global cement player LafargeHolcim, may be looking at a possible merger with promoter group firm Ambuja Cements.
The decision was taken by the company’s Board, which decided to start evaluation of a potential merger between the company and Ambuja Cements, according to a statement from ACC.
The statement added that the move could be undertaken to combine the strengths of both businesses "so as to benefit all stakeholders".
