Pakistani cement exports have declined by a whopping 60.39 per cent in March 2017 as compared to the corresponding period of 2016, according to statistics released by local industry body APCMA. In the first nine months of the current fiscal, exports registered a drop of 14.83 per cent; domestic dispatches increased by 10.90 per cent.
Statistics released by APCMA reveal that in the first nine months the exports from the northern part of the country declined by 10.07 per cent, compared with a decline of 13.81 per cent in exports from the southern part of the country.
