Udaipur Cement Works has completed a revival and rehabilitation project at its cement plant in Rajasthan.
The company confirmed the completion of the project in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange, adding that cement production has now restarted. It also said that shipments of clinker and cement from the Sripatinager integrated cement plant had also begun.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 6.94 million in Q416, after slipping to a Rs 10.12 million loss in the previous quarter. Revenue was up to Rs 232.66 million in 4Q16, compared to Rs 170.11 million in 3Q16 and Rs 221.99 million in 4Q15.
The Sripatinager plant has a clinker production capacity of 1.237 million tpy and a cement production capacity of 1.7 million tpy.
