German technology denotes the highest level of trust and is a benchmark of quality. The flagship of quality and craftsmanship is best represented by the Mercedes-Benz-brand; is there any need to elaborate on the top-notch quality of these vehicles? All over the world, a Mercedes is the icon of topmost standard by any means – whether it be technology, or brand value.

German technology and products have been market outperformers before and after the world wars. In fact, the world wars were the testing ground for various products on performance and quality under extreme conditions. The products which weathered the wars are in operation even today.

Perfection is inbuilt into the German DNA and they try to do their tasks as best as they can and give extreme importance to quality and life of a product.

The German government invests a large amount of money in R&D. The country has some world famous research institutes. The know how through research is available to the industry. The cement industry largely depends on German equipment right from grinding of the raw material to the packing of finished product. A wide gamut of manufacturing processes uses products manufactured using German technology. Today the Chinese equipment industry is emulating German designs, but the products fall behind in quality. That?s why German products are still the equipment of first choice, despite the price premium that they command.

The same is the story in the field of construction. Schwing Stetter, Liebherr and BASF are a few names which dominate the construction business.

The success of German technology can be attributed to the skills of German engineers, their commitment to work, and the culture they follow on the shop floor. The engineering systems are followed thoroughly and are not compromised at any stage.

If we look deep into the success story of German technology, we realise that there is a good work-life balance in Germany.

Many German companies have opened their operations in India and that is a mark of trust regarding the Indian corporate sector.
