The public sector Malabar Cements Limited (MCL) at Walayar, Kerala, has restarted production of cement by bringing in the clinker the company had in stock at its logistics centre at Kochi Port.
Production was stopped from September 10 due to non-availability of the raw material. Now the company has invited tenders for raw materials like clinker, coal and laterite to normalise cement production.
