Minister for Cooperatives (Independent Charge) Vishwas Sarang has said that the country?s first building material bank will be developed in Madhya Pradesh. The minister said that a building material bank will be established, which will be the first bank of its kind in the country, in order to provide material on reasonable rates such as sand, cement, macadam and bricks for the construction works of various government departments.
Keeping in mind the government?s social objectives, Sarang said that the houses will be constructed in Madhya Pradesh for the low-income group on the land earmarked by the housing societies to be used for lower category under the Cooperatives Act.
