Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited, the cement subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Group (DBG), has opened a Research and Development (R&D) centre in Chennai. The Dalmia Cement Research Centre (DCRC) was launched to support the manufacturing, marketing and innovation initiatives of the company and deliver ground-breaking new solutions which would create industry benchmarks. A company statement said that the Centre boasts of state-of-the-art facilities. The R&D team has to its credit numerous research papers published in international journals of repute and collaborations with renowned national and international institutes for research, design and development of new products as well as value addition to the existing products.
Group CEO Dalmia Cement Bharat Limited Mahendra Singhi said, "We believe in constantly innovating, developing quality products and improving service to achieve customer satisfaction, all with new benchmarks in quality, usability and sustainability.
