Eurocement group company Nevyansk Cement has set a new shipment record in July, dispatching 1,25,135 tonne of cement. The closest to this level was 10 years ago, in July 2005, when the company shipped 1,22,976 tonne of cement. Year-on-year, the company reported a 21 per cent increase.
The product most in demand was CEM II / A-SH 32.5 N, which made up more than half of all shipments at 70,636 tonne (a 32 per cent increase y/y). Nevyansk Cement produced 85,763 tonne of clinker in July 2015 and 1,18,747 tonne of cement. This cement production figure was also approaching the record 1,19,107 tonne produced in July 2006.
For the January-July period, clinker production reached 5,10,665 tonne, up 7.4 per cent y/y, and cement production was 6,03,344 tonne.
