Ajay Kapur has been elected as the new Chairman of CII Cement Industry Division at the Annual General Meeting of CII Cement Industry Division, held on July 6, 2015 in New Delhi. Incidentally, it happens to be the first annual general meeting of CII Cement Industry Division. The incumbent Chairman Sumit Banerjee handed over the baton to the newly elected Chairman who is also the Managing Director and CEO of Ambuja Cements Ltd. Banerjee has been the founding Chairman of CII Cement Industry Division. Krishna Srivastava, Whole Time Director, Zuari Cement Ltd, is the new Vice Chairman of the CII Cement Industry Division.
