AES whipping system: The first step in the whipping system silo clean out process is a visual inspection and review of the particular material build up problem. Whipper is set and operated from the silo top.
Once the machinery has been set up, inspection of the vessels takes place through existing access holes. Explosion-proof high intensity lights are lowered in to the silos or bin so that the vessels interior can be inspected for material buildup.
AES whipping system can remove material ranging from those which have set up extremely hard to materials that are simply de-aerated or that have a higher than normal moisture content and therefore, will not flow. Different types of cutting heads are used according to the condition material.
There will be a number of openings required at silo top to clear the total periphery of the silo, depending on the silo diameter. Whipping machine can clear up to 50 m depth of the silo.

Cardox system: The Cardox system is designed to break or aerate materials by discharging carbon dioxide at high pressure into the material. In order to operate the system in any material, a range of tubes are available, in turn, these have a range of discharge pressures.
A tube, with removable ends, is filled with liquid carbon dioxide via a pump. One end of the tube (the discharge end) holds a rupture disc; the other (the firing end) contains the heater. The ends are sealed by the discharge head and firing head respectively. When an electrical current is applied the heater is energised and rapidly develops a high pressure. This pressure is sufficient to burst the rupture disc and the energy developed by the heater is transmitted to the material. The tube is re-usable and the only consumable items are the heater, rupture disc and a sealing washer.
