Godowns for Amma cement have been opened in 13 places in Tamil Nadu through District Rural Development Agency (DRDA). Eligible persons can buy cement at Rs 190 a bag after producing necessary documents. The DRDA had been supplied 6,777.85 tonne of cement from Tamil Nadu Cement Corporation in Chennai and distributed 6,634.7 tonne as on March 30. Similarly, the TNCSC has been supplied 3,674 tonne of cement and distributed 3,670.05 tonne of cement as on March 30.
