According to AFCP, Argentina?s Portland cement association, its member companies dispatched around 1.01 million tonne of cement (including exports) in November 2014. This is 9.3 per cent lower than the volumes dispatched in October 2014. In terms of domestic cement consumption (including imports), the cement companies dispatched 997,440 tonne of cement, down 9.4 per cent m/m and 4.7 per cent y/y. Meanwhile, the INDEC has revealed that Argentina?s construction sector experienced 4.9 per cent growth in October 2014 when compared to October 2013, and 3.8 per cent growth compared to September 2014.
