Holcim’s Indian company ACC plans upgradation and expansion of its cement unit at Jamul in Chattisgarh. It will be decommissioned the existing plant and upgrade it to a 4 million tonne plant based on state-of-the-art technology and also plans expansion of its grinding unit to 1.5 million tonne at Sindri in Jharkhand. Both plants would be commissioned by second quarter of 2015. The company would be investing Rs. 3000 crore for the projects
