SCHADE has bagged a contract from the Brazilian cement producer CIPLAN Cimento Planalto S/A for building a circular column equipped spreader. The spreader will have a flow rate of 1800 tph (max 2000 tph) and a 23 m beam, as well as a belt width of 1400 mm. The contract also includes a bridge scraper equipped with a harrow covering the entire area of the stockpile?s profile. Earlier the company had delivered its first bridge scraper for the cement plant at Sobradinho.
The structural steel will be supplied by Sao Paulo based, AUMUND Brazil, through AUMUND Asia in Hong Kong. The supervision of construction will be done by AUMUND Brazil in close cooperation with SCHADEs? alignment supervisors. Initial operation at the 1.6 million tpa cement plant is planned for this year.
