The cement production of Dalmia Cement in August 2012 was 4.83 lakh tonnes which decreased in comparison to the production in August 2011 which was 4.90 lakh tonnes The despatches for August 2012 were 4.84 lakh tonnes which is lower than August 2011 despatches of 4.92 lakh tonnes. Both cement production and despatch recorded decline of one per cent and two per cent, respectively. The cement production for Jan-Aug 2012 was 23.87 lakh tonnes which was higher by eight per cent as compared to the production of 22.11 lakh tonnes during Jan-Aug 2011. The cement despatches were 23.94 lakh tonnes for Jan-Aug 2012, which is higher by eight per cent as compared to despatches of 22.25 lakh tonnes during Jan-Aug 2011.
