ACC has announced its production and despatch figures for the month of August 2012. In the month, the company’s cement production was 1.75 mn tonnes, which showed a drop as compared to cement production of 1.88 mn tonnes in August 2011. The company despatched 1.75 mn tonnes in August 2012, which was also lower compared to 1.88 mn tonnes in August 2011.ACC’s production for January to August for 2012 was 16.47 mn tonnes and despatches were 14.42 mn tonnes, which showed increase as compared to the production for January – August 2011 which was 16.09 million tonnes and despatches was 16.06 million tonnes.
