Cement production of ACC for the month of March 2012 was higher at 2.30 million tonnes as compared to 2.19 million tonnes in March 2011. Cement despatches for March 2012 were pegged higher at 2.34 million tonnes as compared to as compared to 2.18 million tonnes in March 2011.Cumulative cement production over January-March 2012 was higher at 6.70 million tonnes as compared to 6.22 million tonnes over January-March 2011. Cumulative cement despatches over January-March 2012 were pegged at 6.72 million tonnes as compared to 6.22 million tonnes over January-March 2011.
