The process of selling its cement operations in South Africa has been started by the world’s largest cement producer, Lafarge. The deal is likely to be in the range of USD 700-800 million euros. Potential bidders for the cement facilities may comprise of India’s largest cement manufacturer UltraTech Cement. The company is a part of India’s Aditya Birla Group.
