Aman Jain of Vaishali Floorings Pvt. Ltd has been in the building material and cement business since the last 65 years. The company has been a dealer for ACC, JP Cement, L&T and is now an exclusive dealer of Ultratech Cement for the last three years. The company deals in all kinds of cement. It is engaged in selling cement in the Indore region of Madhya Pradesh. The largest selling cement brand from the company is Ultratech Cement. When queried on which category of cement sold the largest in his area, he replied, "majorly, PPC grade cement is supplied the maximum in this region." Throwing light on the proportion of institutional sales to retail sales, he stated, in the last few years, there has been a drastic increase in institutional sales in our area." The company dispatches a retail cement quantity of 3000 mt per month. The company maintains a minimum stock of Ultratech cement as it has material at railway point for around 25 days in a month. Commenting on the support which he gets from the cement companies, Jain stated, "continuous meetings are held for consumers and contractors in which it is elaborated on how to use cement and the modern techniques for implementation of cement for the manufacture of durable and healthy concrete. When queried on whether he faced any delay in stock arrivals, he opined, "normally there are no delays but if there is an upward trend, then delays are experienced."
