Bobcat will be exhibiting the new E26 mini-excavator and new laser grader and concrete mixing attachments for use by concrete and flooring contractors for the first time at World of Concrete 2012. The laser grader and concrete mixing attachments will be mounted on the latest compact loader models from Bobcat including the T870 compact tracked loader and the S630 skid-steer loader. Powered by the 15.5 kW Kubota D1105-E2B-BCZ-2 diesel engine, the new 2.6 tonne zero tail swing E26 mini-excavator offers all the advantages of the new E-generation of excavators from Bobcat, namely high reliability, exceptional operator comfort, smooth workgroup operation and superior hydraulic performance. In addition, the E26 offers increased stability, optimised operating weight for towing and low noise and vibration, complemented by new features and technologies that are not yet available in many mini-excavators on the market. The increased stability ensures that the E26 mini-excavator does not require an additional counterweight when configured with the optional long dipperstick. The maximum digging depth (long arm) of the E26 is 2582 mm (2890 mm), the maximum dump height (long arm) is 3057 mm (3239 mm) and the maximum reach at ground level (long arm) is 4553 mm (4966 mm).A new improved concrete mixing bucket will also be shown by Bobcat allowing users to mix, transport and pour concrete and cement much more quickly than with a stand-alone mixer. The mixing bucket offer two types of discharge: the ‘traditional’ method by tipping the bucket forward to empty it or by using the side discharge system, with or without a tube, allowing the operator to place the desired amount of mixed material (cement/concrete) exactly where they want it.Bobcat250 E.
