He deals only with UltraTech Cement. He operates in Mumbai and Maharashtra. According to him UltraTech is the largest selling brand and the largest selling grades are 53OPC and PPC. 60 per cent of his sales are institutional and the balance, retail. His agency sells approximately 3000 mt annually. He gets marketing and technical support from the company. On delays in cement procurement he says, "Yes there are delays and they are because of logistics, improper planning by logistics department, lack of practical approach to the problems, traditional way of handling and labour problem." On the issue of GST he says, "The state government should abolish/cancel all local taxes, such as octroi, .lbt, or cess in any form. I would advise the government to increase the rate of tax but levy only one tax in the state. Businessman wants to pay the tax but also wants peace & hassle free business. One point tax will solve the problem."
