Dalmia Cement’s cement production grew by 10 per cent to 3.85 lakh tonne and the despatches fell by 15 per cent to 3.73 lakh tonne in October 2011on a y-o-y basis.During the period April-October 2011, Dalmia cement recorded 14 per cent growth in cement production at 30.49 lakh tonne, while the despatches also grew by 14 per cent to 30.33 lakh tonne.OCL India reported mere 0.5 per cent fall in the cement production to 2.95 lakh tonne and 2.4 per cent dip in the cement dispatches to 2.95 lakh tonne in October 2011.During the period April-October 2011, OCL India reported only 1.3 per cent growth in the cement production to 18.85 lakh tonne, while the dispatches improved by 2.0 per cent to 18.93 lakh tonne.
