KHD Humboldt Wedag Inc a subsidiary of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG has received an order from Cimentos Liz SA in Brazil for the equipment supply, engineering and site advisory and commissioning services, for a new 5,000 tonne per day production line. With the completion of this project which is located in Lagoa Santa-Vespasiano, Brazil, the plant will be the largest single cement plant in Brazil and one of the largest in South America. KHD’s scope of supply includes auxiliary equipment, electrical power system components and instrumentation, as well as core KHD components, including: Comflex? raw grinding system, 5-stage Humboldt pre-heater with Pyroclon? calciner, Pyrorapid? 5.0 m x 69.0 m two-tire rotary kiln, Pyro-jet? LowNox kiln burner and KHD combustion chamber burner, clinker cooler equipped with a Pyrocrusher? roller type clinker crusher, KHD ball mill system, Comflex? finish grinding system, etc.
