ACC reported a hike of 12.88 per cent from 2.19 million tonne in March 2011 to 1.94 million tonne, same month last year. The dispatch stood at 2.18 million tonne in March 2011, up by 12.37 per cent from March 2010. The March 2010 dispatch was 1.94 million tonne. The production for January to March 2011 stood at 6.22 million tonne, while for the same period last year it was 5.54 million tonne, an increase of 12.27 per cent. The dispatch was up by 12.07 per cent for the period January-March 2011 to 6.22 million tonne from 5.55 million tonne in January-March 2010.
